Our Semi Private lessons are the best way to combine the pros of both group lessons and private lessons. Ages 8+ beginner-intermediate.

Each lesson is one hour in length and hosts 2-3 students per lesson. During these lessons students will split their time into 3, 20 minute stations. The stations consist of the following:

​

1. A 20 minute one-on-one lesson.

2. A 20 minute music lab that will take students on a musical journey exploring subjects such as music theory, ear training, sight reading, composing, music history/appreciation and more.

3. A 20 minute guided practice on a supplementary keyboard

​

The stations are specially curated for each student and allows for a deeper understanding of musical concepts. Our music labs allows the students to have extra enrichment and  guided practice time is an excellent way to learn how to practice effectively while fostering self-discipline. Stations are curated each week to each students needs.

Semi Private lessons are also incredibly flexible. We are able to add in wonderful group activities by shaving a few minutes from each station every couple weeks or so. During these times we will play fun music inspired games, hold mini performance workshops and work on ensemble pieces the trio of students can play together at the piano.

Semi Private lessons are best for students looking for a fun enriching experience and not for competitive or exam purposes. Students need to be able to work through some tasks independently.
